There is a song being played on the airwaves called “Say Something” by A Great Big World/Christina Aguilera. The lyrics are quite haunting and evocative. If you have ever been in a relationship where you feel as if you are drifting apart, this song will resonate within you.
The first time I heard it, I was watching videos on Youtube highlighting performances on the AMAs. Yes, I admit to wanting to watch solely for the Miley performance but also because I read on Plurk that Katy Perry put on a beautiful performance and wanted to check it out. I am not one to sit down and watch an entire awards show… too many distractions in life to dedicate to people walking up on stage to recite a few words introducing an artist that I don’t particularly care to listen to, though I do enjoy learning of new artists. A Great Big World is one to me.
